You may wonder what astronauts eat in space but the truth is the food they eat up their is the same food that we eat down here on planet earth, but in plastic containers. What do you think astronauts wear in space? They wear orange space suits for awhile but after that when they are settled they wear the exact same clothes as they would down here on planet earth. How do you think astronauts wash themselves in space, well the truth is they don't have any water in space so they can clean themselves with alcohol or they can wipe themselves with a towel that has liquid soap on it. People can wonder how do astronauts go to the toilet in space? Well the answer is actually very simple, they have a toilet on the space shuttle so they can use that, it is basically the same as your average toilet on earth but they have to fasten themselves to it so they don't float away. You could wonder what do astronauts do for fun in space? They do the exact same things they would do on earth, so they would just bring phones, books, TV's, and anything they do in their spare time on earth. Well there you have it, that is how astronauts live in space.
